Until now, to play with a ferroelectric capacitor you had to make it yourself. Now, you can get ferroelectric capacitors in transistor cans for education or research. 

Radiant's USB Sensor Board combines the RC1-166A Sensor Die and its associated charge amplifier with a USB controller and an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) on the same PC board. The USB controller is the same as the processor on the EDU and internal to all Radiant USB testers. 

The EDU Sensor Board is sensitive current amplifier integrated with a 4mm Sensor Die on a PC board with a useful geometry. It connects directly to the OSC port on the EDU from which it receives power and to which it returns the amplified signal from the sensor capacitor.
