Toroidal Transformers A correctly designed and manufactured toroidal transformer has great benifits over a conventional stacked E/I laminated transformer of the same VA rating. - A 50% smaller size, through reduced core and copper losses.
The QOM Series is designed specifically to power outdoor low voltage lighting systems. The QO features two taps on the primary side and four taps on the secondary side.
The Q6M dual tap unit offers ceiling/floor mount and 6 different surface wall mounting positions as well as 3 different mounting options including rod suspension and junction box mounting plate*.
Housing: 18 Gauge welded steel measuring 17"L x 14.5"W x 4.0"H with 25 KO's. White powder coat finish is standard. Transformer(s): up to 4 toroids - 150W-1500W, 5 Primary Taps for 11-15V or 22-30V outputs. Secondary Circuit Protection: Protected by up to 5 magnetic circuit breakers.
