COLCHESTER, VT, (November 18, 2005) ---- Polhemus, the industry leader in 6 Degree-of-Freedom (6DOF) motion capture, tracking and digitizing technologies, is proud to announce that PATRIOT, a 6DOF tracking product, has been verified to meet the requirements of Class B digital device standards.
The VisionTrak Standard System is a turnkey solution that allows unrestricted head movement. A transparent mirror mounted in front of the subject's eye reflects the eye image into a head mounted video camera. A single LED provides safe, low level infrared illumination.
A: You will need to set up the LIBERTY system according to the manual. Be sure to use a null modem cable for the RS 232 connection. Once this is completed, open the serial connection using the Windows program HyperTerminal. Here is a quick set up:
TX1 A miniature transmitter developed for small tracking areas spanning 1 to 24 inches, the mini transmitter is compatible with all Polhemus sensors. Available for FASTRAK only. Note: the addition of a mini transmitter requires FASTRAK to be sent to Polhemus for board modification.
