Introduction (Written by Sun Microelectronics, January 1997) Historically, most Print Circuit Board (PCB) testing was done using bed-of-nail in-circuit test equipment.

What is ROM Emulation? ROM Emulation is a powerful and versatile method of microprocessor testing. Introduced in 1985, ROM emulation has emerged as the technique of choice for microprocessor test and diagnostic applications.

♦ Are you loosing the production test battle? ♦ Higher pin counts ♦ Denser boards ♦ Faster, more complex processors ♦ Ever shrinking time to develop test software These are all skirmishes on the production test battlefield.

Navatek Eng. Corp. firmly believes that no single piece of test equipment - even one as powerful as the CPU Commander - can solve any conceivable problem you may encounter.
