The control unit is an ergonomic, rugged, lightweight device having a power switch on the rear panel and a push-button MODE switch, one red LED, and one green LED on its exterior. The red LED is flashed at about a 1 Hz rate (to conserve power) and indicates when the sensor is in gas.

Gyrotron systems usually consist of several distinct elements. First is the magnetron injection gun, second is the cavity region where the beam is generated, and last is the collector region where the beam is deposited. 

This model features unpackaged mounting construction on a ceramic plate. The active sensing area of the sensor is 100 X 100 um. This allows one to make hall effect measurements in areas not previously accessible due to the size of commonly available packaged sensors.
