The ViewPoint EyeTracker® was recently used in a field study to study high speed navigation on board a 36 ft. large RIB (rigid inflatable boat) in the swedish archipelago in speeds up to 45-50 knots with no cabin or anything to protect you from the wind and sometimes exposed to water sprays.
Dual channel 60 Hz video over Ethernet provides greater mobility and flexibility. Binocular head fixed and HMD systems and monocular scene camera systems can be provided as Laptop compatible systems with our new GigE-60 product. NO PCI card!
Technical Specifications for the software provided with the HMD modules are the same as for the head fixed systems. The only difference will be the visual angles which are HMD dependant. Calibration is performed with respect to the HMD screen.
